A small version of the Indian Hawthorne with a pretty star shaped pink flower. These mature to dark berries in the winter and it’s a great plant for coastal positions. Dark green, leathery and glossy leaves provide a striking backdrop for these stunning blooms. Extremely hardy and tolerates most conditions, but still an extremely attractive plant especially in full bloom.
Great for garden borders, a small hedge or a feature in a pot. Loves summer dryness and can even handle drought conditions.
Can live happily in any soil conditions and only needs a dash of slow release fertiliser every few years.
