A beautiful flowering shrub with a variety of different colours. Great as an eyecatching hedge or to brighten up your garden. Camellia sasanqua is one of the only Camellias that tolerates part sun to full shade. Large flowers in Autumn, with dark green foliage. Likes a generous feed with organic matter to keep your plants looking their best, mulch well.
Can be used for a feature shrub or a nice dense hedge, great for topiary and happy to reside in a pot.
Will tolerate full sun to part shade but in warmer climates will prefer indirect sunlight. Enjoys slightly acidic soil with good drainage.
